On 12th May 2026, I underwent surgery for Stage 4 endometriosis at Nalini Hospital under the care of Dr Vivek Salunke, and I am deeply grateful for the experience and outcome.
After a very difficult and unsuccessful previous surgerydone by Dr Jay Mehta last year in jan 2025, I approached Dr. Vivek Salunke with a lot of fear and uncertainty. However, from my very first consultation, everything felt different — professional, transparent, and genuinely patient-focused.
What truly stood out was how patiently he listened to my concerns. He didn’t rush through appointments; instead, he guided me through every step. After proper diagnosis and MRI, he explained my condition in detail and helped me make informed decisions. He even called me before the surgery to discuss the procedure thoroughly.
For many women, undergoing a hysterectomy is an emotional and overwhelming decision. The fear, the uncertainty about future health — it’s all very real. But the way Dr. Vivek explained everything, reassured me, and gave me hope made a huge difference. I received counseling multiple times before surgery, which helped me prepare mentally and emotionally with confidence.
I underwent a total hysterectomy with removal of ovaries and bowel shaving. The surgery was performed successfully, and the post-operative care was exceptional.
The hospital environment was warm and supportive. The nursing staff was extremely polite, patient, and attentive. No matter what time I needed help — even late at night — someone was always there to assist me with care and kindness.
Dr. Vivek personally visited twice a day to monitor my recovery, which gave me immense comfort. I would also like to specially mention Dr Madhu, who is not only highly professional but also incredibly kind and supportive. She even followed up with me personally after discharge, which truly reflects the level of care they provide.
A heartfelt thanks to the entire team, including Dolly madam and all the nurses and staff, who made my stay so comfortable and stress-free.

Dr Shinjini mam is the best Dr for endometriosis, Adenomyosis ,Uterine fibroids with lots of knowledge, experience and skills.
I had Severe endometriosis with large adenomyoma with colorectal involvement with Bilateral ovarian cyst with multiple uterine fibroids.
My experience starting from day one was so much relaxing and positive...I mean what a patient need ??....a Dr who will listen her patient carefully and will give relief as early as possible...Dr Shinjini mam is MASTER in all.
I operated in August 2025, Now it's been 7 months and I m totally free from pain.I can do all my day to day activities painfree.
We as a patient has so many queries like...How will be the surgery..what will be recovery time...when we can resume our work...is it safe or not...but Dr shinjini mam answered all my queries in details patiently and calm down all my Chaos and fear about surgery.I am writing this review 7 months after my surgery as So many patients has query about progress and healing but I will suggest please visit Dr Shinjini Mam who will be there even after surgery same as she was there before surgery - (I am pointing out this as I have seen most of the Drs won't care that much once the surgery get done)
